STRESS - OUR SILENT ENEMY -
(832-877-3822for further information)             { See Bottom of This Post For Appointment Times }

Studies are being conducted around the world to determine what, if any impact Stress has on disease and illness.

Because Stress impacts our body's "Systems", i.e., Circulatory, Digestive, Lympatic, etc., our bodies are not able to work at optimal efficiency.  That's why we develop High Blood Pressure, Clogged Arteries, Colitis, Leukemia, Cancer,  and a host of other illnesses.

When our bodies aren't working as they were designed to, we are not getting rid of the Poisons/Toxins efficiently.  Hence ... disease, illness, depression, fatigue.

If you have/have had Cancer, Depression, Cardiovascular Disease or any other of life altering conditions - your Immune System is possibly compromised and/or not workinging at top efficiency.  Reflexology can help.  Reflexology has wonderful Lymphatic "flushing" capability.  Reflexology can help you avoid further disease and illness and relieve depression and depression-related conditions.

"ScienceDaily (Oct. 10, 2007) — In a review of the scientific literature on the relationship between stress and disease, Carnegie Mellon University psychologist Sheldon Cohen has found that stress is a contributing factor in human disease, and in particular depression, cardiovascular disease and HIV/AIDS."  (Exerpt from http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/10/071009164122.htm )

In this article  Dr. Cohen went on to say:
"Effects of stress on regulation of immune and inflammatory processes have the potential to influence depression, infectious, autoimmune, and coronary artery disease, and at least some (e.g., viral) cancers," the authors write.

Because we are constantly assaulted by Stress and Stressful situations, Reflexology is a tool that both reduces the effects of Stress and helps to rid our bodies of the toxins that are contributing to disease-related conditions - that left uncheck can develop into full-blown disease, depression and fatigue, among other conditions.

Below I've included a "Stress Quiz" that can help you determine the level of Stress you are living with each day (taken from http://www.universalreflex.com/article.php/20040405162227521?query=questions )

Take the Quiz and call me (832-877-3822) if you want help minimizing the Stress affects in your life and help your body to get rid of those poisons,toxins.

A regular Reflexology Session can help avoid Disease, Depression and other life-affecting disorders.

SCORING
Score one point for each "yes" answer.
4 and over - It is very likely that your protracted stress levels have reduced the efficiency of your adrenal glands to some degree. It is necessary to supplement your diet with known stress-reducing vitamins such as non-acidic Vitamin C, and Sublingual B12, B6 & Folic Acid.

For the rest of your vitamin requirements consider a Balanced Combination Formula of Vitamins, Minerals, Trace Minerals and Amino Acids, including in possible a blend of whole food concentrates - which is complete, and easily absorbed - giving a broad spectrum base of nutrition that everyone can use.

Also taking fibre - containing soluble and insoluble fibre as a supplement can alleviate the symptoms of stress by slowing down the transit time - the time it takes for food ingested to come out the other end in the form of stool. This means that instead of being hungry an hour after a meal your stomach will stay full for several hours. It also means that your stomach acid has more work to do, and tends to burn itself out. This is a natural protective device that is all the more important under stress.
