REFLEXOLOGY - YOUR FOOTSTEPS TO A BALANCED BODY - My Journey

This is the first day of a new blog and I welcome anyone that wants to share.

I began classes to be certified a Reflexolgist in January, 2012.  When I first began, I never in my wildest imagining thought of the work that it would entail.

To say the least, I woke up to a whole new world of complimentary care for balancing our bodies.  I cannot even begin to tell you how many diagnostic tests I have had and how many antibiotics I have taken and how frustrated I and so many people I have known, have been with the course of allopathic/traditional medicines.  But that is a subject for another day.  And please let me emphasize - there is a place in our lives for traditional medicine.  It is just not always the best way.

Let me just say, should you ever desire to become a Certified Reflexologist, prepare youself for several things.

First, you will study like you haven't studied in very, very long time, if ever.  Unless of course, you are young and/or have been in school recently.  I'm talking here anatomy and physiology to the max.  You will learn the Urinary, Endocrine, Reproductive, Digestive, Respiratory Systems, just to name a few.  How long since you've had to name the many parts of a cell?  Or had to learn all of the bones in your foot.  Or the glandular system; lymphatic system and what it does for us?

There you have that part in a nutshell.

Secondly, You then have to learn where the 7000 nerve endings in your feet lead to and how to manipulate them to benefit your body.  And that's for each individual system.

So welcome to my world.  Come in and share and benefit and learn.  I'll share with you the path I am walking down and let you have a glimpse of my journey of helping people who just can't seem to help themselves and teaching a little along the way to balance their bodies themselves to some extent.

Once again, come in ... sit a spell ... and learn.
